To The Leland Pet Hotel and Spa!

...the mites are ready for their vacation! They're off once again for their favorite Chicago getaway ~ to The Leland Pet Hotel & Spa (our friend's house :o). The Leland family Resort is their top choice in canine hospitality, especially as the four Leland kids love to pamper the wee mites. Hamlet packed his favorite toys, and Ophelia has packed a big box of bones.

Chirstmas with The Mites . . .
The Mites enjoyed opening their Christmas Prezzies... although I think Dan enjoyed it just as much ~ Hammie really liked the wrapping! Since we were in Africa last Christmas, we enjoyed being at home with H&O for the Holiday, and getting to have our turkey on Chirstmas! The last few year's we've had to make it on New Year's!

Turkey Time Again . . .

Chef Danilo cooked up a great 15 lb turkey for us all! Great Job Dan! Meanwhile, the mites had their own special Christmas Concoction of Turkey, Lamb, Rice & Pasta Mix. A Great Christmas was had by all! The SantaDogs were particularly excited with their new toys: Rabbitty 2 (for Ophelia) and Squeaker Bone & Prickly Hedgehog (for Hammie).

Mites in the Wind . . .

Hamlet always liked the wind, but tonight took the biscuit! Not only that, but it was only 16 degrees F with a -8 degree F windchill!! (-9 deg. C with -23C Windchill!) Here he is freezing his little paws off...

Winter Wonderland

I stopped outside work today to take some pictures of Grant Park & Michigan Avenue. We got about 4 inches of snow at the weekend, so it looked really pretty. By the time I took these it had gone down quite a bit already!
