Dan & Rach Tailgating...

So we had our first experience of a "Tailgate Party" yesterday! Dan was asked to run sound for a WMBI Radio Event... and Froggy and I thought we'd tag along for fun. Dan & I don't really get the whole "tailgate party" cultural phenomenon - though we've seen plenty in our neighbourhood, since we live so close to the Bears' Stadium. Nonetheless, we both had a lot of fun setting up WMBI's own tailgate & enjoying the time before the Game! People yesterday were tailgating before The Chicago Rush (American) Football Game against The Kansas City Brigade. We got to stay for the game afterward, though neither of us had much idea what was going on! Froggy enjoyed the bbq'd hot dogs & loud cheering in the Stadium!

TAILGATE PARTY:
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia . . .

In North America, a tailgate party is a social event held on and around the open tailgate of a vehicle. Tailgating often involves grilling food. Tailgate parties usually occur in the parking lots at stadiums and arenas before sporting events and rock concerts. People attending such a party are said to be tailgating. Many people participate even if their vehicles do not have tailgates.
