Grampa & Granny are here from Northern Ireland this week, and thankfully Grampa doesn't mind painting... so we set him to work on Charlotte-Amélie's room. She still needs some new furniture... but in the meantime, I am glad to see it starting to take shape!

Who would have thunk...Yellow! Love it!, that carpet is so cute...was that already there? It's the carpet and not a rug right?
Yeah... we did two walls "winter sunshine" and two "cadillac pink." Just couldn't bring myself to do them all pink and no yellow! And the toy box seatcover had to be yellow too of course! We bought the rug.... as there was a burgundy flowery one there. -Wouldn't quite go with the yellow ;o) It is my favorite room right now as we changed all the decor entirely! The rest of the house was already freshly painted in neutral colours, which is handy, as we don't feel like there's much to do. It was pretty much move-in ready. Except for the fence to keep the tribe in! Dad finished staining it today. We're glad to have his help, especially while Dan's at work.
