Not sure who he looks like yet, but might have daddy's chin. From the later Ultrasounds he looked like Mummy & little sis Charlotte-Amelie. Mummy thought he had Papa's forehead. Funny... she thought that about Charlotte-Amelie too!
About the Birth:
Born in Chicago, with labor beginning around 4:30 am. Total labor time about 5 hours. A common phrase heard right after delivery was "WOW he's big!" ...Special Thanks to Gabi for taking on Charlotte-Amelie (GERD & all!!)... and to Jeff & Elizabeth our new neighbours for their willingness to face the vicious mites! We are so glad friends like this enabled Dan to attend the birth - which we were worried might not be possible.

Naming Details
Why we chose the name:
"Elliott" & "Alexander" - just because we loved the names, and how they sounded together; & Daniel after Papa :o) We named him after Papa because we hope he becomes a man just like him one day! We have liked the name Elliott for a boy for a long time, and always thought Alexander sounded good alongside Elliott

Nicknames:
"Cricket" was his womb name... as Papa insisted that in the first ultrasound pic (6 weeks) he looked just like a cricket! Mummy thought he looked like a wee bunny, but Papa insisted on cricket - so until now our little one has been called Cricket.
